A 20-year-old man killed Sunday morning when his car drifted off De Luz Road in Fallbrook and hit a tree has been identified as an Escondido man.
Adrian Rangel died from his injuries after his car drifted to the left side of the road and hit a tree near Sandia Creek Drive just after midnight.
He was taken to Palomar Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries later that day.
It’s unclear if drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation.
No one else was in the car.
