Two men were arrested on Interstate 805 early Tuesday, accused of carjacking the driver of a Volkswagen Beetle.
A man called San Diego Police at 6:21 a.m. from Glidden Street in Linda Vista. He said two men on foot told him they had a gun and ordered him out of the car.
Less than half an hour later, officers spotted the Beetle traveling on southbound I-805 near Murray Ridge Road.
Officers with drawn weapons took two men into custody – both identified as 22 years old.
No other information was released by police.
