San Diego police are searching for suspects believed to have stolen tools from a construction site.
The search began just before 8 p.m. Monday night after an off-duty police officer called in the alleged theft from a construction site near Jackson and Lakeshore Drive, San Diego police (SDPD) said.
Officers followed a suspect vehicle both on the ground and from the air.
They stopped the car near State Route 125 at Lemon Grove Avenue. It is unclear if any suspects have been detained or arrested at this point, or if those suspects have tools from the site.
The investigation is ongoing.
No other information was immediately available.
