Two trolley passengers were injured in downtown San Diego when a car turned into the path of a train.
The wreck took place at about 11 a.m. near G Street and Park Boulevard. The car, which had Arizona plates was badly damaged in the wreck, but its occupant was unharmed.
Police closed the westbound lanes of G Street after the incident, and trolley service between Park Boulevard and Market Street and City College was interrupted. Transit officials set up a bus bridge to transport riders until trolley service resumed.
