Escondido Police are searching for a man who allegedly grabbed a teenage girl on her way to school and shoved her to the ground Tuesday morning.
The 15-year-old Orange Glen High School student was walking to school on the Jefferson Ave. and North Rose St. intersection at about 6:30 a.m. police said.
The suspect grabbed the girl and forced her to the ground, according to a police report.
The girl managed to get away and call police to report the attack.
Police said the man was last seen in an older white Station Wagon with a black stripe on the side. They described him as a tall, bald man with a muscular build in his 30s.
The school's principal, Karyl O’Brien sent a message to all the principals in the district alerting them of the incident.
