A driver was killed Monday night after plowing into a tree in 4S Ranch, officials said.
At around 3:30 a.m., the driver identified as a 34-year-old man, crashed at Camino Del Norte and Camino San Bernardo. The impact left him unresponsive and trapped inside the car.
Emergency crews got him out of the wreckage and tried to resuscitate him. He was taken to a hospital where he died shortly thereafter.
CHP officers are investigating what led to the crash. No other information was immediately released.
