One person was killed and three others were injured when two cars collided on Escondido’s E. Grand Avenue early Friday.
An SUV and a Z28 collided head-on along the main thoroughfare through the city of Escondido between Ash Street and Rose Street.
Officials said one person died and three people were transported to nearby Palomar Medical Center with minor injuries.
Escondido police said the street would be closed for an unknown period of time while they investigate the cause of the collision.
