A pedestrian was hit and killed on the connector from northbound Interstate 805 to westbound State Route 52 Thursday.
According to the CHP, the pedestrian was trying to cross the freeway when they were hit at around 6 p.m., according to the CHP.
The driver stayed at the scene. Drugs or alcohol are not considered factors in the crash, CHP said.
CHP identified the victim only as a male in his 30s. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
