The team will play seven games before the start of the Mountain West Conference including a match-up against UCLA in the Wooden Classic on Dec. 1 in Anaheim and the Diamondhead Classic scheduled for Dec. 22, 23 and 25. The men will face the University of San Francisco at the Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. ESPN televises 10 of the 12 tournament match-ups.

Aztecs fans can also see the team in action against Syracuse in The Battle on the Midway scheduled for Friday, Nov. 9, 2012.

The NCAA game will take place aboard the flight deck and be broadcast live nationally at 4 p.m. as part of a series of Veteran’s Day events in San Diego.

Season tickets are no longer available, but tickets to individual non-conference games will be available once the team's non-conference schedule is released. That schedule will be released when it is finalized according to the SDSU Athletics website.

Attendance to home games has risen steadily over the years. Last year an average of about 12,000 people watched each game. The year prior, about 11,600 people came to each game, up from about 7,200 in the 2009-10 season.

Over the last two seasons, SDSU has sold out 24 out of a possible 34 home games according to the team’s website.

The team Tweeted the news with a picture of the packed Viejas Arena, thanking fans for their support.
