New Video: Chaos After Cab Drives Into Club Crowd

More than 25 people were injured early Saturday morning when a cab plowed into a crowd outside Stingaree, a popular nightclub in downtown San Diego's Gaslamp District.

In the moments following the accident, which occured at 1:54 a.m., people on scene used their cell phone cameras to capture footage of the ensuing confusion and concern.

The first of the three following videos was added Sunday. The other two were published Saturday.

Twenty-three people were hospitalized and seven people were in critical but fairly stable condition, said Maurice Luque, a spokesperson for San Diego Fire and Rescue. No victims had to be resuscitated.

The most severe injury related to a woman whose leg was severed below her knee.
