Catch a Bus to Support Chelsea's Law

In an effort to introduce Chelsea's Law to state legislators, the parents of murdered teen Chelsea King, along with Assemblyman Nathan Fletcher, are taking a bus to Sacramento -- and so can you.

According to the Chelsea's Light Facebook page, the bus leaves Monday night and will return Tuesday night.

Little Tommy from the Jeff and Jer Showgram is hosting the 57-seat bus. For more details and to reserve your seat, email Little Tommy at littletommy@san.rr.com.

On Monday morning, Brent and Kelly King and city officials will also give a press conference at the airport to speak about the specific policy provisions included in Chelsea's Law.

Chelsea King's parents discuss their support for the reform of sex offender punishment.

Convicted sex offender John Albert Gardner III has pleaded not guilty to assaulting and murdering Chelsea. The Poway girl never returned from a run at a San Diego park.

Gardner also is under investigation in the death of 14-year-old Amber Dubois of Escondido, who disappeared in February 2009. The teen's skeletal remains were found near Pala in a remote North County canyon shortly after Chelsea's body was discovered in Rancho Bernardo Community Park.
