Poway Unified School District'S Deteriorating Buildings
•
The Poway Unified School District says it needs money to repair and upgrade many of its aging school buildings. NBC 7 Investigates toured Poway High and saw a leaky roof, broken lockers and busted shower drains. The district hasn’t been able to get voters to approve a bond to fund facility repairs since 2011. That provided the district with $105 million, but at a future cost of $981 million to taxpayers.
