Save Her Life

Woman needs bone marrow transplant to live

If you had the chance to save someone's life, would you?

A Chula Vista woman needs a bone marrow transplant to live, and you can make the difference.

Stacy Walker was diagnosed with a form of leukemia in 2006 and now needs bone marrow.

Prospective donors will be swabbed inside their mouths in order to gather cells that can be used to determine whether they could be a match.

No matter what race or ethnicity you are, you can help increase Stacy's chances of survival -- and other patients -- by registering as a potential donor at the upcoming drives

  • Wednesday and Thursday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the UCSD Library Walk
