Supreme Court to Hear Obama Healthcare Law

The Supreme Court could either leave the entire law in place, strike down only the individual mandate, annul the entire law or put off ruling on the mandate until the law takes effect

President Obama's healthcare law is headed to the Supreme Court. America's highest judiciary agreed to hear a group of appeals challenging Obama's signature legislation, focusing on the individual mandate that all Americans are required to have health insurance or face a financial penalty.

The Supreme Court could either leave the entire law in place, strike down only the individual mandate, annul the entire law or put off ruling on the mandate until the law takes effect, Reuters reports. Hearings begin in March.
