Tuesday was Kids NewsDay, and many of the folks at NBCSanDiego and other businesses and organizations around San Diego hit the streets to sell a special edition of the San Diego Union-Tribune.
It was all for a good cause: The money earned will benefit Rady Children's Hospital.
Inside each of those newspapers was a Golden Ticket, which was a contest sponsored by Bridgepoint Education. On the top right corner of each Golden Ticket was a number. The person holding the winning number will win $5,000.

So far, Kids NewsDay has raised $96,000 for the hospital just this year.
