For women who haven't gotten their cholesterol checked lately, there is a free screening available in the North County.
Palomar Medical Center along with the National Coalition for Women with Heart Disease and the national tour "Cheerios Circle of Helping Hearts Tour" are offering free cholesterol screenings for local women this week.
Free screenings include:
Cholesterol (Total, HDL, LDL, Triglycerides)
Blood Pressure
Body Mass Index (BMI)
Framingham Risk Assessment (10-year risk for heart disease)
