Two-Year-Old Allegedly Taken by Father On Christmas Eve

Lucia Perry was last seen at The Grove with her father during a supervised visit.

Detectives are asking for the public’s help to find a 2-year-old girl who is believed to have been taken by her father while on a supervised visit at The Grove in Los Angeles on Christmas Eve.

Lucia Perry has blond hair and blue eyes and is 2 feet 6 inches tall. She was last seen wearing pink sweatpants, a yellow T-shirt and hot pink Nike shoes.

During a visit with her father, Jack Perry, in the 100 block of The Grove, the person supervising the visit lost sight of the pair around 5 p.m., according to a statement from LAPD’s Van Nuys division.

Jack Perry does not have custody of Lucia. He is 31-years-old and has brown eyes.

"At this point, there is a child concealment investigation that is ongoing. We are asking Mr. Perry to return their daughter as soon as possible. We do not believe Mr. Perry would hurt their daughter," said Capt. Andrew Neiman. "The elevated concern is that Mr. Perry is a British citizen and there is some concern that Mr. Perry may have the means to take their daughter out of the county."

Neiman said they were last seen in Beverly Hills, at a hotel. Perry is no longer staying there.

Lucia's mother, Elise Perry, pleaded for anyone who may see her daughter to please call police.

"It’s been four and a half days and she’s never been a day away from me. We miss her so much and I just want to know she’s safe," she said Monday night.

She said the girl's father is given five hours of visitation three days a week with a monitor.

Neiman asked anyone who sees Lucia to call 911.
