Armed Men in Tactical Gear Break Into Home, Tie Up 71-Year-Old Woman

Police are seeking the public's help identifying two men who wore tactical gear and stole guns and money from a south Orange County home on Monday Night.

Laguna Beach police Tuesday asked for the public's help in apprehending two men who broke into a Laguna Beach home and tied up a 71-year-old woman before stealing guns and money from her.

The woman dialed 911 at 11:06 p.m. Monday saying the men broke into her home in the 20000 block of Laguna Canyon Road. The woman, who was still partially bound, said the two gun-toting masked men told her they were looking for drugs and money, according to Jordan Villwock of the Laguna Beach Police Department.

The woman was house-sitting for her son and daughter-in-law. The robbers ransacked the home before fleeing with several guns and money, Villwock said.

Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call police at 949-497-0701. Orange County Crime Stoppers will accept anonymous tips at 800-222-TIPS.
