Parents of Missing 8-Year-Old Arrested, Boy Still Not Found

Southern California authorities searching for a missing 8-year-old boy have arrested his father and mother.

The Corona Police Department says the investigation began Tuesday evening when officers spoke with the mother of Noah McIntosh and unsuccessfully attempted to contact his father at a local apartment.

"I just want him home. I just want to know he's OK. We will pick him up wherever he is. We just want him home," Holly Godfrey, the missing boy's aunt, told NBC4.

Police served a search warrant at the residence early Wednesday and found 32-year-old Bryce McIntosh inside with his 11-year-old daughter, but Noah was not there.

Detectives arrested the father and mother for investigation of suspected child abuse.

The couple's 11-year-old daughter was placed in Child Protective Service's care.

The Police Department says other local family members were contacted but could not provide information about the boy's whereabouts.

The boy was last seen in the 4600 block of Temescal Canyon Road about two weeks prior.

Corona is southeast of Los Angeles in western Riverside County.

Anyone who has seen Noah is asked to call Corona Police Department's Senior Detective Mario Hernandez at 951-279-3659 or Mario.Hernandez@CoronaCA.gov.
