Two lanes of the westbound 210 Freeway at Lowell Avenue in Glendale reopened Tuesday morning after a fiery collision that involved two semi-trucks just after midnight.

The westbound 210 Freeway was closed at Lowell Avenue for nearly six hours.
One semi-truck rear ended the other, said CHP Officer Zachary Hamel.
The crash appears to have been caused when one big rig slowed down because of mechanical and possible engine problems.
One big rig landed on its side and fuel began leaking on the road, which set off a fire.
The trailer of one of the trucks was carrying wooden pallates, adding fuel to the fire.

The fire was extinguished after midnight, but the lanes were closed all morning because of debris and clean-up.
Both drivers had only minor injuries.
