A woman was pulled from a black Saturn SUV and thrown to the ground Saturday following a pursuit that ended in Corona.
The pursuit began in the Whittier area where the driver was wanted for "suspicious"circumstances.
The driver initially pulled over then took off, prompting a pursuit with the Whittier Police Department.
The California Highway Patrol took over the pursuit when the driver got on the freeway shortly before 11 p.m.
The woman pulled over shortly before 11:15 p.m. in the Corona area where officers took her into custody.
No further information was available.
