A police officer crashed his cruiser as he transported a suspect back to the station in Garden Grove early Tuesday.
The cop was driving at around 10 mph when he smashed into a parked semi-trailer truck at the intersection of Acacia Parkway and Nelson Street just after 12 a.m, Garden Grove Police Department said.
The officer suffered minor head injuries, and was taken to hospital for treatment. He is expected to be fine.
At this time the cause of the crash is unknown, and the incident is being investigated.
