California Could Have Its Lowest Voter Turnout Ever in Primary Election: Report

California has a serious case of voter apathy--at least that is what experts are saying.

A report said the state could have its lowest voter turnout ever in the upcoming primary election.

According to the San Jose Mercury News, there are several contributing factors, including a lack of competitive races and the absence of citizen initiatives.

Plus, whoever goes up against Gov. Jerry Brown in November is not given much of a chance to win, according to some political experts.

Experts said the people most likely to vote next month are generally older, wealthy, white, and more educated.
