A 31-year-old Monterey Park man was arrested for allegedly fondling two 10-year-old boys in the bathroom of a Dave & Buster's at the Westfield Santa Anita mall in Arcadia, police said Tuesday.
One of the boys told his mother what happened soon after he left the restroom around 6:45 p.m. Monday night and identified the attacker to her, police said. She chased after the suspect until managers of the restaurant took over the pursuit.
They were able to detain him until mall security personnel and police arrived.
Detectives later learned that another boy had also been fondled in the restroom. No further details were provided in that incident.
The suspected was identified as 31-year-old Kwan Chow. He was arrested on suspicion of committing a lewd act with a child.
Chow’s bail has been set at $200,000, according to the Arcadia Police Department.
