Days after Flight 1549 splashed into the icy Hudson on Jan. 15, 2009, photographer Stephen Mallon grabbed his camera, and was able to get some spectacular access to the wrecked plane.
Capt. Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger III took to Twitter on Tuesday to remember how the events on that day transpired. "It was snowing in Pittsburgh and our plane had to be deiced. I hoped the weather would cooperate so I could get home to California that evening," Sullenberger said.
