It's always a good thing to support local businesses and this weekend you can do that while at the same time enjoying samples of wine paired with some decadent desserts.
Eclipse Chocolat is celebrating its first year Saturday, Nov. 8 at its North Park location at 2121 El Cajon Boulevard. Will Gustwiller started the business in the hopes of building a local, chocolatier that operates in an eco-friendly manner. On his blog, Gustwiller says the business donates 10% of its annual net profit back into the community to help develop local non-profits and charities.
Now, Eclipse Chocolat is giving back to its customers. They'll offer a free box of two truffles with every box of ten purchased as well as 10% off their chocolates. At the same time, there will be three featured wines paired with three artisan truffles for the tasting.
