We don't always have crazy Sundays around here, but for some reason the stars have aligned, bringing with them some stellar performers. At the Observatory, Kurt Vile is back in town, and he's always got some new jams to go with the old faves. Speaking of new jams, Cayucas have a couple of new singles before their new record drops, and tonight you can catch them live in the Voodoo Room of the House of Blues. Alt 949 breaks in the Del Mar Arena with their Not So Silent Night, featuring 30 Seconds to Mars, AJR, Elle King and Alice Merton, while progressive artist Wafia is at Casbah. Wavves and Beach Fossils are at House of Blues for their second night this weekend, Suuns blast Soda bar and Skating Polly make noise at Space. Some Sundays are for kicking back and chillin' at home, but this isn't one of them.
