Easter is a time to feast, but just like any of the other mega-meal holidays of the year like Thanksgiving, Christmas and Labor Day barbecues, there are options to cooking at home.
For years, Hornblower Cruises has been offering it's Easter brunch cruise.
"It's the big brunch on the big ship on the big bay," says company spokesperson Lindsey Guinn.
It's a family affair and this year because of the economy and to encourage the kids to come, Hornblower is offering special pricing for kids 4-16 adds Guinn.
The celebration begins as soon as guests arrive. The Easter bunny greets everyone on the dock and a photographer can capture the moment.
Glasses of chilled champagne for adults and sparkling cider for the kids are available to toast the holiday.
The big brunch includes cheese blintzes, a variety of salads and Oysters Rockefeller, carving stations and more according to Yelp.com. The dessert buffet boasts truffles to New York cheesecake.
The Easter brunch cruise begins at 10:30 a.m.
