It may be our little town, but there's always a place for "The Simon & Garfunkel Story" in it.
Thanks to Broadway San Diego, the immersive concert-style theater show is coming to the Balboa Theatre for two performances on Feb. 18-19, 2020.
The international hit charts the journey of the legendary folk-rock duo composed of Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel -- from their '60s rise to their 1970 fall and their 1981 reunion at "The Concert in Central Park."
The show will feature projected photos, original film footage, live performances of their biggest hits and more.
Believe it or not, the duo played here for real in 2003 at Cox Arena, Simon performed in 2011 at Viejas Arena and Garfunkel played a set at the Poway Center for the Performing Arts in 2014.
Can we hope for a special cameo? Probably not, but we can always cross our fingers.
