I've been so excited about tonight's show with the Dragons that I almost forgot to even post today. So let's be real. To me, there's only one show that matters tonight. It's been a long time since the Dragons have played, and while there will be hollow hearts without Steve [Rodriguez, who sadly passed away in 2015], for tonight and tomorrow's shows, Hector Penalosa from the Zeros will be on bass. Of course, this show is sold out -- Drip Tank reuniting is quite a big deal, too -- but if you didn't grab tickets, you have some other options in town. Doors tribute Wild Child returns to the Belly Up tonight while Soda Bar hosts the Undercover Dream Lovers playing some indie-psych rock. San Francisco band Chasms venture down for a show at the Whistle Stop and locals Nights Like Thieves play the Ken Club. There are lots of good shows to keep you entertained this Friday night.
