Sounds Like San Diego: June 11

Beat the heat with some live music and ice-cold A/C courtesy of a few great San Diego live-music venues

I was definitely not expecting a heat wave this week, so my best advice is to shelter in place, preferably with some air conditioning, and wait for the sun to set. Which is where our music scene comes in perfectly for the win, as you can catch some live music all while chilling with an ice-cold beverage. Tonight's music selections include the groovy "psych-folk" of the Babe Rainbow, playing another sold-out show at the Casbah, catching Seattle rapper Sadistik at Soda Bar, or enjoying the arctic chill of the Merrow's A/C while grooving to the very talented song stylings of Jehlad. I don't generally approve of shorts and flip-flops as appropriate attire for a show, but I'll even let it slide this time.
