Swami's beach has always been one of the county’s best-exposed reef breaks purely as a result of being able to demonstrate consistent wave conditions that work anytime of the year. But its winter wave setting make in a major destination for San Diego surfers due to its standpoint right break along with a fun reef – inside bowl section. As a result of excellent surfing circumstances the water can get crowded, but that doesn’t keep locals from enjoying extraordinary surf.
Directions to Swami's Beach :
Use the Encinitas Boulevard exit off the I-5 Freeway coming from the north, and the Birmingham exit from the south. Then, head west to 101, and look for the gold domes atop the Fellowship's walls.
