Local punks Western Settings have some good news: They just premiered their new song, "Spinning World," on Brooklyn Vegan.
The single release comes ahead of the band's scheduled Sept. 6 release of new album, "Another Year."
According Brooklyn Vegan, the track is "a melodic punk banger that kinda finds the middle ground between the Menzingers and the Smoking Popes, but with an extra flair that makes it stand out from the pack."
Formed in 2014 and composed of Ricky Schmidt (bass/vocals), Will Castro (guitar), Dylan Wolters (guitar) and Adam Kissel (drums), Western Settings already have two EPs and a full-length album to their name -- not counting "Another Year."
Currently signed to A-F Records and Gunner Records, the band is hitting the road in a little more than a week, making a hometown pitstop at Tower Bar on Sept. 1.
