Sacramento, CA (Sports Network) - John Salmons and Francisco Garcia each scored 21 points as Sacramento held Kobe Bryant in check and rolled to a shocking 113-101 victory, dealing the Los Angeles Lakers just their third loss of the season.
Bobby Jackson ended with 15 points and Spencer Hawes contributed 11 points and nine rebounds for the Kings, who snapped an eight-game skid.
Bryant had 28 points, but went just 9-of-25 from the field, as the Lakers (17-3) had a three-game win streak broken. They'll host Phoenix on Wednesday before taking on the Kings at the Staples Center Friday.
Pau Gasol chipped in 25 points and 12 rebounds for the Lakers, who suffered their worst loss of the season. They were beaten at home by Detroit, 106-95, on November 14 and then dropped a 118-117 decision at Indiana on December 2.
