Sounds Like San Diego: Sept. 3

It's round two for the Silent Comedy in Oceanside

Yes, I know I just wrote about the Silent Comedy yesterday, but in case you didn't make it to the scorching festival by the bay, you still have a chance to catch the band tonight in Oceanside before they head up the coast for a mini-West Coast tour. It will definitely be worth your while. Meanwhile, hip-hop heads and fans of Rhymesayers artists will want to be at the Casbah tonight where Seattle-based Grieves performs. Bar Pink will no doubt have their air conditioning at full capacity when City Mouse play a matinee show at 5 p.m., and you can hope for some coastal breezes while you hit Tacotopia at the race track with renowned DJ Steve Aoki bringing down the party. If you're a fan of old school R&B, Valley View Casino Center is your spot, or if the DIY punk ethos is more your style, spend the afternoon at Tower Bar for a lengthy lineup of artists. Best of all, most of you have the day off tomorrow, so you can just enjoy wherever the night may take you.
