Today is full of awesome as the Adams Avenue Street Fair packs in the talent with the Album Leaf, the Loons and dozens more. Of course, the show that everybody is talking about today is Paul McCartney at Petco Park, which should be amazing for the fans who could afford to shell out the big bucks for the tickets. For the rest of us, there's still great music all over town, including Sir Sly returning with an all-ages show at the Irenic, Jeff the Brotherhood at the Hideout, and Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band at Soda Bar. My pick is Snowmine, who blew the Casbah crowd away earlier this year when they opened for Small Black, and now fittingly return with a headlining slot.
