Sounds Like San Diego: October 4

The Archons return home from a West Coast jaunt to headline your Wednesday night live-music options

You might not know Jeff "Doom" Haynes personally, but if you've been to any show at the Casbah or the Irenic or even some at House of Blues or Space or Soda Bar, he very well could be the guy behind the show. As production manager for the Casbah, he very well might be the hardest working guy in the local music scene. Tonight, after being on tour up the West Coast, his band the Archons comes home for a show that is sure to melt faces. Obviously not everyone has a taste for severe doom metal, so fortunately you've got other options, like funk band Turkuaz at Belly Up, parody country band Jonwayne at Soda Bar, or the sold-out Post Malone show at the Observatory. For something low key, join DJ Claire at the Whistle Stop for a screening of "Living On Soul," a documentary that features Daptone artists.
