I almost never say this, but if you want my honest opinion, I'd blow off Sunday night music. Not because there aren't some great options, but because if I really had my way, I'd be doing every minute of CicloSDias -- San Diego's open streets event snaking from Little Italy through Downtown to East Village and Barrio Logan -- because there's nothing more liberating than walking, riding a bike, scooting, skating or using any other non-vehicle mobility when there are no cars around. And lest you think I'm cheesing out on your music pick, I'd say catch any bus or trolley with your bike to Little Italy, ride the designated route to Barrio, then pray that Thorn Brewing Company's grand opening still has tickets so you can catch the likes of bands like the Heartaches, Bit Maps, Low & Be Told and more. So there. Bikes. Beers. Music. Sunday. Funday. If you need some suggestions for nighttime anyway, Parachute play an intimate acoustic show at the Irenic, Madeintyo brings hip-hop from the ATL to the Observatory and Joan Osborne stops asking about God when she does a night of Dylan at the Belly Up.
