Festival season hasn't quite come to an end yet, so on Sunday we get the benefit of Beach Goth's proximity to San Diego, and a couple of artists who played there Saturday follow-up with shows in America's Finest City. For starters, Chicano Batman returns to town with a sold-out night at the Casbah. Meanwhile, the big show of the night is Violent Femmes -- who have put a lock on their unique acoustic punk style for decades -- at the Observatory. Our friend Jesse LaMonaca plays an extended set at Sycamore Den if you'd like to chill out, and D.R.I. bring the punk to Soda Bar if you didn't get enough at Ye Scallywag this weekend. Lastly, if you're heading up to the Belly Up for the Proclaimers, be sure to get there early enough to catch the especially lovely and talented Jenny O.
