Today is Small Business Saturday, and since we're all music fans around here, we know that most venues and record shops and breweries we know and love are small businesses, so you can be guilt free today as you peruse the grand opening of Vinyl Junkies Record Shack in South Park or any number of other record stores around town. If you're in North County or feel like venturing there, Lou Niles and crew have put together another In Your Neighborhood Block Party at Pour House in Oceanside. The event is free, open to all ages and has a killer lineup of local acts. By evening, San Diego's School of Rock hits a 10 year milestone with an anniversary show at the Irenic and the locals of the Young Wild hope to pack the Casbah. Spencer Yenson appears at Soda Bar, Wayward Sons plays the '80s hits at Belly Up, and Schizophonics heat things up at Space with the "Ugly Things" crew.
