It's been awhile since I've gushed over Lou Niles, but the truth is I don't think I would've found this musical path in my life were it not for the many nights when I couldn't sleep and listened to him on Loudspeaker. He's been back on the local scene for some time, but now he's repping North County with his In Your Neighborhood series at Pour House. With Trouble in the Wind headlining tonight's installment, you're in luck if that's your neck of the woods. Down in the central parts of SD, our buddies Quel Bordel should induce some massive Thanksgiving hangovers at the Holding Company and Cash'd Out hope to do the same at the Belly Up. Soda Bar and the Merrow have solid lineups to check out, or head to the Casbah for some pre-Thanksgiving Booty Bassment. This is one of the most fun nights of the year, but be sure to designate a driver or use a taxi or rideshare to keep our roadways safe for the holidays.
