Sounds Like San Diego: May 8

Rogue Wave head up a packed night of live-music in San Diego

There are some really special shows in San Diego tonight, and even if you're not usually out on a weeknight, you might want to make an exception. At the Belly Up, indie-rockers Rogue Wave perform to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of "Asleep At Heaven's Gate," but I'm sure the night will be peppered with other favorites, too. Meanwhile, vocalist Erika Wennerstrom took a break from her band, the Heartless Bastards, to record a solo album and she performs it tonight at the Casbah. To shake things up, Dessa, another member of the Doomtree collective performs at Soda Bar, and K. Flay finally plays the makeup show for her concert that was canceled earlier this spring. There's some real magic to be had tonight in the live-music scene.
