There are some bands that you only need to see one time to know that sooner or later, they're going to be superstars, they just kinda have that "it" factor. Such was the case the first time Phantogram played the Casbah. They were amazing and incredibly kind, and when their star rose, it came as no surprise. Now with three records and numerous EPs under their belts, the duo take the stage at SDSU's Open Air Theatre. Joined by Tycho and Poolside, this is definitely a killer show for a Thursday night. Around town, LA-based pop quartet DRÆMINGS play the Casbah, punk band G.B.H. rock the Observatory North Park, and our buddies in Jason Hanna & the Bullfighters headline Bar Pink.
