It's a super busy Saturday and while San Diego certainly needs buckets of rain, for all of today's events I can only hope for organizers and participants that it holds off until night time. Between the sold-out CRSSD fest, the Mission Valley Craft Beer and Food festival at SDCCU Stadium and the free Busker Festival at Seaport Village, there are a lot of reasons to be outside today. By nightfall, I'm so super excited to see Gogol Bordello at their sold-out show at the Observatory, as it's been some time since they've been to our fair city, and no doubt the gypsy punk pioneers will be well received by their thirsty fans. Anderson East is sold out at Belly Up and Earthless at Casbah is also sold out again, which means you'll have to look elsewhere to spend your Saturday night -- that could mean Canadian country singer Whitney Rose at Soda Bar or smooth jazz legend Keiko Matsui giving two shows at Humphreys Backstage Lounge. There's lots of great stuff happening all over, but with the Social Media Marketing Convention and CRSSD in town, places are going to fill up if they're not sold out already, so plan ahead and have some fun.
