This weekend offers up a little something for everyone all over San Diego. If you're looking for some early evening options, Bankers Hill Business Association hosts its annual beer festival at the Abbey; head to North Park's Red Brontosaurus Records for a show with Retirement, Bearchild, and Kalashnikov My Wife; or head south to the Salty Frog for a local weekend festival put together by Super Buffet. By nightfall, get your funk on with Chicago's the Main Squeeze, catch the sparkle of the beautiful local ladies of the Goldettes at Bar Pink, or catch electronic act Mako at the Observatory North Park. Soda Bar has a rippin' show with BirdBath's record release and students of the San Diego School of Creative & Performing Arts play at Dizzy's. I don't know what else we could ask for in a Friday night but since that big storm never really hit, you've got no excuses to miss out on the fun.
