When Midlake of Denton, Texas, released The Trials of Van Occupanther, critics hailed the well-crafted album, making many comparisons to Fleetwood Mac. Many wondered when the band would follow up -- and if they could repeat their success. With their latest, The Courage of Others, not only has the band proved it, but the band's growth on the new record with its layered sound will sound pristine in the wooden arches of the Belly Up Tavern.
