Tonight is a really great night for music in all of the usual spots. At the Casbah, Canadians Suuns return with their boundary pushing art-rock while Soda Bar offers straight-up guitar rock with Radkey. George Clinton always sells out his Belly Up shows and tonight is no exception. The Whiskey Circle is at Music Box, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band is at the San Diego County Fair, and Eraserface is at the Hideout. The show that everyone I know is excited about, however, is Cherry Glazerr -- who recently opened for Best Coast and Wavves at the Observatory. Tonight the band headline the Irenic, and with all the buzz I'm hearing, I predict it won't be long until they're back at the Observatory with their own headlining spot.
