There are nearly two dozen places to see fireworks in San Diego this Independence Day, which means you can expect to see our beaches and parks packed and the roadways completely clogged between 9:30 and 11 p.m. or so, so if you do plan on hitting the town, be strategic and plan ahead. There aren't a ton of shows, but the Fair wraps with their final performances, Adrian Demain plays Tiki Tuesday at Bar Pink, and Michele Lundeen is at Humphreys Backstage, making it really convenient if you're watching the Big Bay Boom from Shelter Island -- or catch Big Something if you're watching 'works in OB. Maybe you're best off just finding your closest watering hole and saving the music for the rest of the week.
