Sounds Like San Diego: July 1

Tonight's Transviolet show at the Casbah should feel like a bit of a homecoming

Hopefully, you caught our interview last night with Transviolet. The interview is illuminating about the band and their take on the music industry. With three members who were formerly San Diego band Noise Floor, tonight's Casbah show should feel like a bit of a homecoming for the buzzworthy band. Meanwhile, local band Downers bring their wispy alternative rock to Soda Bar, Highland Eyeway play at Che Cafe and Celtic rockers the Young Dubliners play at Belly Up. If you're looking for an early evening session, try a cool afternoon hang in Balboa Park where ZZYMZY Quartet plays at Panama 66.
