It's hump day on what is already feeling like the longest week ever, but you can fight the midweek blues with some live music. The Touchies and Kitty Plague rock the Merrow, and Blue Sky Flu hit up Soda Bar. Gilbert Castellanos is known to play rain or shine, but we also haven't had this much rain in some time, so if you feel like checking out the jazz jam at Panama 66, I'd recommend calling the venue first. My instincts tell me that you might want to head to the Casbah, where Omega Three headline a local night. I've been friends with drummer Joe Gastelum since 7th grade (which was a very, very long time ago), and he's never been in a band I didn't instantly love.
